oh Elle is lovely do you have any family names you could use?

I would personally think that a single syllable name like Elle would need a longer middle name to balance it out iyswim?

Elle Beatrice S......
Elle Lydia
Elle Clementine
Elle Celeste
Elle Constance
Elle Saskia
Elle Imogen
Elle Amelia
Elle Violet
Elle Elisabeth is actually very nice
Elle Penelope
Elle Corinna
Elle Tabitha
Elle Marie
Elle Susannah

I don't think I've hit it yet, although I'm liking Elle Elisabeth

DiamondHead · 21/11/2009 20:49

I've been thinking but not come up with anything yet. Elle is a hard name to match.

Perhaps you should bump after x-factor.

Thanks ladies.

My middle name is Elizabeth, it sounds quite good, I agree.

I think it does need to be quite a long middle one doesn't it?

I love Lydia and that was my joint first choice with Elle but DH isn't keen. It sounds awesome with the surname though.

Our 3 boys all have 1 or 2 syllable first names and all have 4 letters in their first name so DH would like to match that iyswim?

I don't think Lydia sounds good after Elle though? Not long enough.

I agree, its not as pretty with Elle as Elizabeth is and if it is you middle name then thats a lovely selection

I love it when a plan comes together, jobs done

misdee · 21/11/2009 22:15

(still trying to get the name into the top 10 lol)

dizzydixies · 21/11/2009 22:38

I appreciate the efforts

misdee · 21/11/2009 22:47

lol.

its for dd3 benefit as well.

she insist we call her dixie the pixie for a whole day once, it really suits her

doubleexpresso · 21/11/2009 22:50

Elle Josephine

GossipMonger · 21/11/2009 22:54

Elle Elizabeth May sounds nice

or

Elle Elizabeth Rose

Think it could take another single syllable name to finish it off

Both my boys have 2 middle names

dizzydixies · 21/11/2009 23:02

gossip - all 3 of mine have 2 middle names as well

misdee - she obviously has good taste

LadyOfTheFlowers · 22/11/2009 09:04

Ha! Sorted!

Elle Elizabeth Rose it is!

DH has agreed, so before he changes his mind, it's done.

I love it!

Thanks so much all!

lovely

fannybanjo · 22/11/2009 11:22

I love Elle Elizabeth Rose, Elizabeth is my middle name but with an S and DD2's middle name is Rose.

LadyoftheFlowers, if you are anything like I was during my pregnancy with DD3, my girl's names threads were legendary on here for my indecisiveness! Ask dizzy! (was pgwithnumber3 dizzy).

DaftApeth · 22/11/2009 13:51

That's lovely.

Shame that you didn't go for 'Elle Mary'' though

LadyOfTheFlowers · 22/11/2009 18:56

LOL Daft.

Thanks all! x
