Like all the boys' names. Like Eleanor and Caitlin. Freya ok. Not keen on Hermione.

I like them all except Patrick.

I like Henry and Hermione the best.

Not keen on Patrick or Caitlin, the rest I don't mind.

not mad on any of the girls names but from that list i would choose freya.

The girls names are all ok, in a Boden & piano lessons kind of way.

The boys names, with the possible exception of Patrick......dull,dull,dull.

I have noticed the name finder doesn't come up with anything very exciting though. Maybe you could try a book or another website?

Henry is on my list for DC2. Also like James as a middle name.

Of your girls names my faves are Caitlin and Freya both of which are also on my list!

I like all of them apart from Hermione which is a big poncey

Fave - Patrick/Joseph and Caitlin....
All of those loosely on my list...

My other two DCs are Sam and Imogen. I think most of the short list goes with these. It is funny to me that Caitlin is so popular - i like it but it was actually DS's suggestion - he doesn't know any Caitlin's and his other suggestion was 'Cinderella'. He is 5 though!

seeing other names Caitlin or Joseph work best for me.

Really like your lists from the boys list my fav would be james and least fav would be Patrick but thats only cause my family is full of Patricks so its just so common for me... My fav girls name is Caitlin and its extra special your ds picked it least like Hermione its jus screams Harry Potter

They are all nice names, but I think that Henry and Freya are the nicest.

I love the boys names. My DS is Joseph and my DH is Patrick although he gets Paddy mostly. We had Henry or James for DD if she had been a boy.

Out of your girls I love Caitlin and Eleanor but I'm not keen on Ellie if it was shortened.

I like Hermione too but Harry Potter ruined it.

I did wonder about the Harry Potter thing with Hermione but was kind of hoping the films would be out of date by the time she was in school (wishful thinking?!) Would shorten Eleanor to Nell i think if we went for that. God, its so hard - pre-children i thought it would be the best bit but definitely not now. I just don't like the responsibility!! I've done it twice before and none of my lists have carried over from one pregnancy to the next!

Patrick is lovely. James is ok, lots of them. Joseph nms, Henry pompous.

Freya or Eleanor are lovely.
Caitlin nms, and Hermione is awful.

I like Caitlin pronounced the Irish way, but not 'Kate-Lynn'.

Hermione is rather too 'topical' for my liking.

Freya is too 'Primrose Hill Set'.

The other names are all lovely, can't fault them.

I like good old fashioned Kathleen instead of Caitlyn.

Yes, Kathleen is nicer. My cousin has a two year old Kathleen after her mother!

I really like freya as iam planning on using that name one day.
