I like the Annabel spelling myself - don't mind the Annabelle but really not keen on Anabel - looks a bit incomplete to me

I know one (spelt Annabelle I think) aged 8

So Annabel, possibly Annabelle then....

we were going to go for Violet but DH changed his mind and Annabel was next on the list. Maybe Annabel/le Violet?

Annabel Juliet is much nicer! Violet is nice in itself, but v like Violent.

pureeandpearls · 08/11/2009 14:54

Juliet? Good God no! You did choose the spelling though, so one out of two isn't bad.....

i like Anabelle, i dont know any with the name around here

discountmum · 08/11/2009 15:03

Annabel- simple and classic.

Maggie - sorry, no, I don't know any little Jennifers!

Annabelle Juliet seems a bit of a mouthful? Not sure what goes with it better, though. Violet is pretty.

JenJam · 09/11/2009 14:00

annabel

JenJam · 09/11/2009 14:03

oops hadn't finished typing

annabel is my preference

annabelle is too froufrou, 'trying to hard' to be different for my taste

anabelle seems more continental - i would guess russian, french parentage?

I don't know many annabels young or old but it is a very familiar name of good stock! go for it
