Mary is lovely, and massively underused imo

Mary is my mum's name, I'm very keen on it for a DD's first name -but do you think I'd then offend my (lovely) mother in law if we don't honour her too? Love her, but don't love her name -at least not for the current generation!

Yes there's a nice derrivative but sadly DH think it sounds like trailer trash when placed after Mary!
