Tobias or Jacob?

Hi everyone, help needed please!

Currently only 28 weeks so quite a while to argue decide about it yet but our top 2 at the moment are:

Tobias nn Toby
Jacob (I don't like nn Jake but DP does)

I personally prefer Tobias/Toby as really don't like Jake, but DP has "gone off" the name Tobias and now only likes Jacob/Jake...sure he's only doing it to annoy me!!

So any opionions please? Or any other suggestions as whilst I like Tobias/Toby I still don't really "love" it...ideally a name that shortens to 2 syllables/is 2 syllables or more already & doesn't easily shorten any further as DP has an annoying habit of shortening everything immediately!!

Thank you

I have a Jacob who won't currently answer to Jake and gets shirty with anybody but me calling him Jakie.

Tobias is a good name but imo Toby is OK for a little boy but would sound daft on anybody over the age of about 10.

Issac is good and my Jacob's middle name is Adam so I'm going to say that is a good one too!

What about

Simon
Aiden
Ethan
Connor (I love Con)
Daniel
Tyler
