Oh.

I quite like Jefferson.

I really don't like Hadleigh, sounds very made up.
Hayes sounds too much like Hades imo.

Rhett is ok, Gone With The Wind stylee though isn't it?

mustrunmore · 05/10/2009 18:15

I love Jefferson out of those. You've just made me remeber a lovely Jefferson I used to employ

Hayes, no no no. sorry!

shootfromthehip · 05/10/2009 18:17

At a push then it would be Jefferson, but tbh, I don't really like any of them

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 05/10/2009 18:30

Anderson rather than Jefferson. Did you just make these up?

yama · 05/10/2009 18:32

Only Jefferson.

morethanyoubargainfor · 05/10/2009 18:44

I don't really like any of them TBH, especially hadleigh, as that is the town in which i work.

Hayes also makes me think of car manuals sorry.

Does it really matter what us lot think of YOUR choice of names?

It will be you and your ds who have to live with it.

witchbrewster · 05/10/2009 18:48

Yes it does matter what people think. I'd like an idea of how they'll be received.
They're not made up names.

Jefferson is the best of the 4..I'm trying to be possitve here, but finding it really hard....

ReneRusso · 05/10/2009 18:56

Not very keen on any of them tbh. Rhett and Jefferson are ok I suppose.

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 05/10/2009 19:06

How about these alternatives:

Hal instead of Hayes
Rhys instead of Rhett
Jamie/ Jonah/ Jude/ Anderson instead of Jefferson
Hayden instead of Hadleigh

slowreadingprogress · 05/10/2009 19:46

They're all unattractive and, I'm afraid, chavvy

Doozie · 05/10/2009 20:58

Sorry, don't like any of them. They all sound like you're trying too hard.

pippylongstockings · 05/10/2009 21:14

Jefferson is good - but you know it will be shortened to 'Jeff' as soon as.

My son has a short version of his proper name for day to day use and people still shorten that!

Hadleigh is kind of growing on me - I think if you are going for more unusual names you have to love the choice you make and not worry too much about others. Easier said than done.

Wattinger · 05/10/2009 22:39

also don't like any of them.

I like Jefferson reminds me of Jefferson Hack who is rather cool

gegs73 · 07/10/2009 12:07

I like Jefferson but don't like Jeff which it would undoubtedly be shortened to. Don't like any of the others
