Eeeeek. I like Sasha .

norktasticninja · 29/09/2009 16:47

I'm afraid I really don't like most of the names you've listed, but, I do like:

Lorelei
Willemina
Vivienne

How about Araminta? Aurora? Coco? Saskia? Astrid?

Notasecretanymore · 29/09/2009 16:54

What about Lelaina - Lainey for short.

tummytickler · 29/09/2009 16:55

Love Gwendolen - on our list.
Is Willemina a name - I thought it was Wilhelmina! If that is right i like it with nn Mina.
Don't like Vesper - but I do like the similar Hesper.
Rosamund is also lovely!
The rest are not really my thing

PfftTheMagicDragon · 29/09/2009 16:56

Is that a character list from Battlestar Galactica?

Ellica · 29/09/2009 16:57

how funny i know a of twins willow and phoenix!
i like Sapphira and Xylia out of your list

norktasticninja · 29/09/2009 16:57

AFAIK Willemina is an accepted variant of Wilhelmina. I knew one who shortened it to Willa.

FimboFortunaFeet · 29/09/2009 16:58

From the list Anastasia and Vivienne

bellissima · 29/09/2009 20:19

Atalia. Can't you fly to Rome with them?

Er, have difficulty with the list. Alexandrie is surely a boy's name (okay with an extra i). Vesper - okay saw her with lovely Daniel but really doesn't sound like a name. Others eg Amaranda, Cassiela just sound like you've added an extra syllable to a name to make it more 'exotique'.

I'd stick with the Irish ones.

Pingpong · 29/09/2009 20:24

From that list I like Seren

trainers · 29/09/2009 20:26

You have are so creative, it is so special choosing a name.
The names I really like from your list are:-
Willemina
Vivienne
Rosamund

bluebump · 29/09/2009 20:32

I don't like Theanora but love Thea. Otherwise like Eden and Cleo.

LynetteScavo · 29/09/2009 20:37

Wel, you've made me smile.

Vesper?

Anastasia and Sasha are lovely.

Eden is not a tall unusual around here.

Hulababy · 29/09/2009 20:43

4 from the list:

Willow
Seren
Anastasia
Layli - lay-lee

PenguinProject · 29/09/2009 22:35

Phoenix, Willow, Vivianne, Vesper and Eden all good - sorry more than four there, but I'm about to rule two out anyway.

However, Vesper and Willow may make people think of the characters of the same names (James Bond and Buffy lesbian...). As someone with an unusually spelt name, I have hated having to spell out my name repeatedly over the years and it's only 4 letters.

Cadelaide · 29/09/2009 22:38

"tzofiya"

Cadelaide · 29/09/2009 22:41

OK OK, sorry, just googled it and I see it's "proper".

Still spend all her life spelling it out though.

Cadelaide · 29/09/2009 22:42

I really like Lorelei and Vivienne [guilty emoticon]

cece · 29/09/2009 22:47

Kerensa - but prefer it spelt with a C

Estee - eh-stay - actually prefer Esther

Anastasia - prefer Anna tbh

Aine - awn-ya - quite like this
