DS2 Now nearly 6 weeks old - finally gets a name

Friday is cut off point to register and we've actually managed to decide - drum roll please - Angus, nickname Gus. For a moment there I thought it would never happen. We've been sort of calling him Finn, but it just wasn't right, Angus suits him more.

Middle names are surprize, surprize Robert and Garry. To give Dh his due, which is hard, they are both family names, Garry is my great uncle's name. He died earlier this year so it's a tribute to him really. Robert is dh's family, I think various relations. So pleased it's all over. Never thought I'd have a son called Angus though. It's funny how your children get named isn't it? Never as simple as ooh I like that and job done.

I used to have a 'Saturday boy' in work called Angus. He was gorgeous! I was about 26, he was 16...I love his name!

I love Angus it's the middle name for my DS1. I'm pregnant with DS2 (due December) and also love Gabriel but rather like you think that there is no chance that my DH will accept it....still got 3 months to work on him though....

Lovely name. We have a friend Gus (full name Angus) who is a wonderful gentle man. Bright, caring and generous, I hope your Angus grows to be as lovely as his namesake.
