Can't help Im afraid. I like both. DS2 was going to be Oliver but I don't like the nickname Ollie.

Samuel - i really don't like Oliver - i don't know why though!

LittleMissNosey · 18/09/2009 19:44

Wait till the baby arrives and then decide!

I have a Toby, love it!
Out of your top 2 I would personally choose Samuel, Lily, Toby and Sam sounds good, where as Lily, Toby and Oli, doesn't so much.

Thats if they get shortened though!

Oh, Im useless good luck with your new arrival! x

Ooh, what LMN has just suggested is a good idea, we had Henry or George for our last baby, as soon as I saw him I said "he's not a Henry"! Decision made!!

Yes, I don't like the nickname Ollie/Oli, which has been bugging me. But just worried Sam is too meh! The last two times I had definite names I loved so this is proving a new and unwelcome headache, esp at the 11th hour!

I prefer Oliver (but I have one so am biased!)
Sam just seems a bit boring to me
I do like the nickname Ollie, but my ds (4yo) is always called Oliver in full, its just happened - so it doesnt always get shortened..

Samuel or Sam are nice.
