Each to their own I suppose but I think Nicole Ritchie's new son's name is POSSIBLY one of the worst sleb baby names yet

Are there worse, or am I just being a meanie???

southeastastra · 09/09/2009 23:12

or great tit

skybright · 09/09/2009 23:23

Really bad!

Clary · 10/09/2009 00:29

Oh I have to say I assumed Sparrow was a girl.

Like Willow. Or something. Not a great name for a boy is it (or for a girl either tbh).

MamaLazarou · 10/09/2009 07:20

Ha ha ha ha ha ha, what a silly name.

Still better than being one of a million Joshuas, though.

Actually, having thought about it, I quite like it...wouldn't name my own child Sparrow, but it's really not that bad!

diddl · 10/09/2009 08:37

I think it would be slightly better if she changed the childrens names around!

MrsVik · 10/09/2009 11:54

Sparrow James Midnight Madden.

I'm hoping they go with James for the poor little blighter.

MrsVik · 10/09/2009 11:56

LOL! Just reading an article about it - the 'expert' points out how the two boys (Harlow and Sparrow) both have names ending in 'ow'.

Yes, that's pretty much how I see it panning out on the school playground too!

MrsVik · 10/09/2009 11:57

*the two kids (Harlow is a girl, sorry...)

EldonAve · 10/09/2009 14:06

Dreadful

Shelbury · 10/09/2009 14:19

If no 3's gonna be Marrow then No 4 has to be Wheelbarrow...

mathanxiety · 10/09/2009 15:08

Clearly they have decided their theme is OW.

Oh i thought it was a girl when i saw the name how sad!

Andrea11 · 10/09/2009 16:05

Sparrow, I think it's a really nice name... More original that matt or chris or matthew or adam or whatever other boys name has been used a trillion times already...

Wigglesworth · 10/09/2009 16:44

Sparrow, that is fecking awful. She should be done for abuse IMO.

MrsWuh · 10/09/2009 16:49

The poor child will be nicknamed Spaz - that is too, too cruel. And I thought naming your daughter after the chavviest, most hideous town in Essex was bad.

Ponders · 10/09/2009 16:59

Next one could just be Ow. That would be striking.

boundarybabe · 10/09/2009 18:25

mswuh- you've obviously never been to basildon!

MrsWuh · 10/09/2009 19:53

You mean Basildon is even worse than Harlow? Holy Moly - better rethink my options for DS3!

fuzzywuzzy · 10/09/2009 19:57

Altho she's given both her children rather unusual names. She has added a normal name for both, I think her little girl has a Kate in there somewhere and her son is a James I think.

I reckon both children will use the normal names.
