Lucas vs Nicholas..?

Any thoughts? Does Lucas remind anyone of Lupus or any other disease I haven't considered? Other than this, I quite like it ....

Lucas = v v good (but prefer Luke) / Nicholas = not good - imho. Astonished that Lucas has been deemed 'chavvy' - I think it sounds both classy and artistic. :0

Lucas is very of-the-minute. I didn't know any Lucases when I was a child (adult or children) and I know lots of them under 15 now.

Nicholas is a lovely, classic name that's not too common. I like Nick as a shortening (my first love, though...) and Nicky is cute for a little boy.
