I love Keziah!! It was my nan's name.

SweetApril · 29/08/2009 23:54

Edwin and Stanley I like. Conal reminds me of colon too. Not especially keen on the girls names. Think Keziah sounds nicer than it looks, iyswim.
Only just discovered this whole baby names thread. I could be here all night wittering on about names.

RedLentil · 30/08/2009 00:04

Well, I am a Siobhán and I have always loved the name. It feels right at any age, and is about due a revival I think.

I have a nephew called Conall and love the name.

cheesesarnie · 30/08/2009 00:14

keturah-I was at school with oneand it always seemed an odd name-I still think so.
keziah-don't like
siobhan only if Irish connections
Conal-hate
Edwin/-OK
Stanley-I see an elderly ,overweight man.

Sorry-Edwin and Keziah are the best of the lot.

clop · 30/08/2009 20:14

I like Keziah best, there is one in DS2's Y1 class (pronounced KEH-zee-ah). I thought it was a made-up name until I found one in my own family tree (is it Biblical?).

I like Stanley best of the boys.
Not keen on the others; Siobhan sounds nice but the spelling makes no sense for English speakers.

lou031205 · 30/08/2009 20:22

Keziah is one of Job's daughters in the Bible. Nice name. A friend's daughter is called Keziah, Kezzy for short & is very cool. (She is 4)
