Clementine Eugenie for a girl - Monty for a boy

Can't think of a middle name for Monty, though DH thinks Monty Columbus would be good. Our other children are called Arabella Scarlett (Belle) and Jasper Emmanuel. What do you all think?

I think that Clementine is a beautiful name, but that Clementine Eugenie is a bit of a mouthful.

I don't like Monty.

I have a Clementine, we love it. It's still fairly unusual, though there are a few more coming up. Bound to be the case with any pretty name though! Will Monty be short for something else? What about Sebastian or Edmund as a middle name?

I also don't really think it matters if middle names are long, better to choose a name you love than a different name just because it's shorter.

I like Monty - but would use Montgomery on the birth certificate.

Clementine is nice, but the nicknames - Clem, Clemmie etc. don't sound that nice imo.

This is mangling your girl names in with your boy names a bit, but Eugene Clement sounds really nice (to me).

I like Clementine but it doesn't really gel with Eugenie, IMO.

Agree with bonsoiranna about Clementine Eugenie. Clementine very pretty, but a bit too much with Eugenie.

Not keen on Monty, though I suppose Monty Don (ie the person, not the name) is rather lovely. It sounds a bit like a dog's name to me though.

I loved Clementine too but would have used Cleo as a nn

and am afraid Clementine Eugenie is a bit too much - could you save Eugenie for a next DD?!?
