sonniebonnie · 20/08/2009 15:40

Very popular in Surrey!

mumoverseas · 20/08/2009 16:02

I've got a Harrison but we've started calling him Harry, even though we said we wouldn't. Ooh, is it popular down south?

I know several Harry's but no Henry's.

BornToFolk · 20/08/2009 16:06

I have a Henry and there's one more at nursery. And a Harry too.
Way more Harrys around than Henrys though which is a bit annoying if you have a Henry as everyone will mis-hear it as Harry.

MaybeAfterBreakfast · 20/08/2009 16:08

One of mine has Henry as a middle name. I know a 6yo with the name too. No others here though (Herts).

Harry rather than Henry more popular at the moment. Know one (6mo) but hear the name bandied around a lot when out and about.

KittyTN · 20/08/2009 16:08

Many more Harrys than Henrys in my experience, also SE. But I'm sure Henry will increase in popularity - the Tudor effect!

I have a Harry, only 1 other in his whole school (another Mners son).
DN is Henry.

So not so popular in Lancashire

skyblu · 20/08/2009 16:25

HUNDREDS of Harry's around this area at the moment.

Haven't heard of many Henry's though.

I'm just about North enough to be classed as The Midlands

tigger32 · 20/08/2009 16:30

My cousin, my brother and 2 of my friends have Harrys, also quite a few at ds's school so quite popular in East Midlands.
Only know one Henry though.

screamingabdab · 20/08/2009 16:35

2 in my son's year at school (Juniors)

scattykatty · 03/09/2009 18:48

Mine is Henry! No others I know of in Wilts, people keep saying Harry though which I hate

liahgen · 03/09/2009 18:50

My Henry is almost 12.

Did you know Prince Harry is actually christened Henry, Harry is the short version of Henry, (how it can be short I don't know but here you go)

Our Henry is just Hen, or Henners to his friends,

scattykatty · 03/09/2009 19:11

I call mine Hens or Henzy

maxybrown · 05/09/2009 11:15

Yes My Grandad was called James Henry but everyone always called him Harry! What??!!!

HerHonesty · 05/09/2009 12:29

very. harry much more than henry.

Lilyloo · 05/09/2009 12:35

My great grandad was called Hnery but everyone called him Harry , hence my ds is Harry as Lizzy said only 2 in the school so not popular here.
Don't know of many Henry's either.
