Brodie is 100% a boy's name here in Australia but it's spelt thus.

Tommy · 29/07/2009 23:14

seeker · 29/07/2009 23:14

shonaspurtle · 30/07/2009 00:20

From that site:

The boy's name Baldie \b(a)-ldie, bal-die\ is of Scottish origin. Pet form of Archibald.

Yep, it's of Scottish origin alright. Scottish for got no hair. Poor wee American Baldies

hisnibster · 30/07/2009 00:28

Tsk tsk, there's a bit of snobbery going on here. Each to their own and all that.
Spell it Brodie for a girl, op!

Vegemitelover · 30/07/2009 00:30

I have two cousins in australia. one with a girl - brodie. the other with a boy - brody.
i like the name for both.

sleepsforwimps · 30/07/2009 11:09

Lovely name, personally I think the spelling Brodie works best for a girl. Congratulations btw.

MamaLazarou · 30/07/2009 18:47

Yes, agree: Brodie. Lovely name.

taylorsmummy2004 · 30/07/2009 18:52

Brodie is one of my faves for my #2 baby, i'd go with that one too, think the "ie" ending is more feminine! Congratulations!!
