I really don't think there is anythign wrong with having a name that is fashionable in the time you are living.

Tortington · 27/07/2009 23:34

Rafferty - sounds like a dodgy chav bar
Winston - sounds like what you call a bull mastive
Edward (Ted) - father? you don't get to pick the nickname - he will be ed unless you call him ted - in which case just bloody call him ted

i like edward in full

Albert - its a dick piercing

Reuben - common

maggievirgo · 27/07/2009 23:35

MamaLazarou · 28/07/2009 09:16

Rafferty - a wanker's name.
Winston - brilliant
Edward (Ted) - brilliant
Albert - brilliant
Reuben - brilliant

Supercherry · 28/07/2009 09:50

Raffert, Winston and Reuben, nice but a little pretentious for my tastes- but that's because I am not posh, if you are posh then fabulous

I like Edward- mmmm, hadn't thought of that one! Ed, Eddie, Teddy all cute NNs.

Albert, I don't know why but I cannot imagine a baby Albert, it's quite different from your other name choices.

I'm having a baby boy in October and cannot for the life of me think of a name.

cece · 28/07/2009 10:00

We were going to call DS2 Edward (Eddie/Ed for short) However when he came out he didn't look like an Ed! So out of you list I prefer Edward. The other names are not any I would chose.

maggievirgo · 28/07/2009 10:27

lol at rafferty a wanker's name. my mother's maiden name.!
