Matt Dylan - you are joking aren't you? He is an actor.

Why not Matthew, then shorten it?

Matthew Lucas

Matthew Jon

Matthew Leon

Matthew Isaac

sorry....sorry...

I quite like matt dylan, but maybe 3 syllables would be good, like matt alexander for example?

LouMacca · 20/07/2009 17:00

Matthew James

Matthew George

Matthew Adam.

Not keen on Matthew Dylan (like the actor tho!).

I would also use the name Matthew and then shorten it to Matt.

btw Congratulations!!

If it weren't for the actor it would be a great name. Sounds OK with Nathan. How about..

Matt...

Logan
Ethan
Brandon
Jayden
Joseph

Matthew...

Ross
Rhys

v odd to call a baby Matt imo. not a proper name at all. people will always be trying to call him matthew - and if you don't like matthew you'd be better off going for a nother name altogether.

violetismygirl · 22/07/2009 18:16

pambaby can't go for Matthew Lucas either Fimbo! - Matt Lucas (and David Walliams)

BlueChampagne · 23/07/2009 13:11

I second Matthew James. Matt Adam has too many Ms for me; Matthew Adam would be better. Hope your surname doesn't start with D tho' ...

MaybeAfterBreakfast · 23/07/2009 13:22

Matthew William

pambaby · 23/07/2009 13:48

majority likes matthew instead of matt, hmmm... surname doesnt start with D,so it'll be ok if i decided to name my son matthew adam or anything with MA, hehe..

I don't think using Matt is that different to just using Sam or Ben which loads of people do.

HerHonesty · 23/07/2009 19:40

door.

pambaby · 24/07/2009 00:42

very good for the suggestion of Door... lol

Mark Luke and John
But seriously, Oliver, James, Charles? Please do not call a child Matt Dylan

pambaby · 27/07/2009 06:03

no, it won't be matt dylan..
