Shirley !!!!!!!!!!! .

Actually it would really suit her, dh and i decided after a good old giggle. I have no idea where she has heard the name but she loves it!

So, what do we think. Is Shirley due a comeback

Reminds me of my 'film' hero - Shirley Valentine

My DS4 (11yrs) wishes I had called him 'Blaze' - FGS no idea where that one came from!!

Reminds me of Anne Shirley - I don't see why it shouldn't have a comeback. Maybe not Anne's favourite Cordelia though.

(Also reminds me of Airplane/Police Squad)

This is why children must not be allowed to choose their own names.

When I was around that age I wished more than anything my name was Tina.

My first serious boyfriend told me that as a child he had wished he's been called Roger.

We used to laugh when we thought of ourselves as Roger and Tina.
