Come on then, I need a boys name!!

Any ideas?? I am only 25 weeks BTW, but we have had all the other Dcs named by 21 weeks!!!

Last name begins with 'J', so that's all my fave names out the window, eg..Jake, Jay, Jackson, George.

We have quite traditional names for other DCs, eg.Oliver.

I am not keen on having a 'B' name (as in B.J), but DHs' fave name is Benjamin. I am not sure.

I really like the name Logan, but DH is not keen..

Any ideas welcome, TIA

I do have a name book, but to me, when reading them, they are just words on a page IYSWIM?

DH refuses to think about any other names, he just says, give me names you like and we'll discuss them! I think he thinks he'll get his own way with Benjamin!

We both liked Logan but went off it when we realised it was Wolverine's (X-Men) real name... Thinking about it again now, I'm not sure why that put me off so much...Might add it back to our list!

Benjamin is a good name though!
Logan is nice but it depends on how traditional the other names are and whether or not you want to stick to it.
Both our kids got the name we liked most before they were born as their middle name and a completely different one as their first name after we saw them!
For us we didn't want a name ending in a/ah etc as our surname ends er but sounds like ah, and it just didn't go well together! We also didn't want to go down the family names line, it makes it harder finding one you both like that goes with the surname!

Personally I like Orlando and Ashton but my DH was totally anti both names and adamant that I stand alone in liking the names!!!!

My favourites are Sebastiaan and Alexander

Benjamin is nice and so is Edward. Imho Logan is not good - it sounds like it's really trying to sound cool and it reminds me of 1970s sci-fi.

I have nothing agains the name Benjamin and it could be a middle name but BJ is just cruel.

Honestly? You wouldn't want your child to have the initials BJ? Because of blow job presumably.

How ridiculous! Sorry but to have this as a fear which would prevent you from using your favourite names is utter, utter madness.

My husband is a BJ. Benjamin james and he says in 40 yrs noone has ever mentioned the blow job thing...

I can't believe people allow such purile nonsense to inform their choice of name.

Thank you, some good ones on here. Trouble is, we have so many boys on DHs' side, that a lot of the decent names are taken.

Shortlist so far is;

Dylan - I really like, DH likes, but not 100%

Dominic - DH really likes, but I'm not sure. It's a good boys name, but I can't imagine calling a baby that!!

Benjamin - DH fave

Edward - Def a contender,

Luke - both like, but not 'wow'!!

I do like quite a few of the names above actually, but DH is very picky. I think he has only just realised how bad he is!!
