Is Josie too similar to Jocelyn?

We are trying to decide on baby names. We both really like Josie but one of my very close friends has a 2 year old called Jocelyn.

Would she be annoyed if I chose Josie?

(I have never heard my friend refer to her DD as Josie, sometimes as Joss though).

I personally don't think so but if you're worried I'd speak to her about it

have you considered using Josephine nn Josie or even Jodie? they could be a middle ground if it worries you that much
