Both of these have become two of my favourites lately, which of them do you prefer and why?

Dexter is a serial killer.

Griffin is quite cool.

Trinaluce · 27/02/2011 12:36

Hm, serial killer or mythical beast? Pass on both, sorry. (Friend's DS is Dexter, suits him down to the ground but I still don't like it)

ConstanceFelicity · 27/02/2011 12:41

Don't like either but certianly not Griffin- Makes me think of Nick Griffin, fascist extrordinaire...

BelligerentGhoul · 27/02/2011 12:45

Dexter, if it has to be one of them.

Griffin sounds like the parents are desperately trying to cling on to their view of themselves as 'young and alternative' - sorry but you did ask why!

yousankmybattleship · 27/02/2011 12:48

Sorry, but I think they are both awful. Griff is nice though.

Greenwing · 27/02/2011 16:53

Serial killer or mythical beast/name of racist Nick.
This sort of choice makes me understand why people use the popular names like Thomas and James so much - fewer negative reactions!
Sorry - don't like either.

Dexter is a surname, Griffin is a strange mythical animal. Out of the two it would have to be Dexter.

dexifehatz · 06/03/2011 01:22

I like them both, but prefer Griffin, Dexter is becoming a bit ubiquitous. Griffin reminds me of Party of Five Smile

DexterFletcherusedmyeyedrops · 06/03/2011 20:45

Dexter. Obviously.

expectingno3 · 06/03/2011 20:53

Dexter - by far the bestter name. Love it myself but DH doesn't agree. Griffin just reminds me of the old Midland Bank icon.

expectingno3 · 06/03/2011 20:54

By far the better name, not bestter...

MazzzaG · 07/03/2011 22:44

Please don't call him griffin it's a surname lol dexter better
