Hello there. This is a pink bump and i think we have finally decided on calling her Heidi. Any middle name suggestions would be welcome - surname begins with G so we need to avoid anything beginning with an A or an O.

Indiechick · 06/05/2009 14:56

SOLOisMeredithGrey · 06/05/2009 15:37

Jayne or Jean.

dinkymum · 07/05/2009 10:59

I was going to say Claire until I said it out loud and realised it was 'I declare' so scrap that. I do like the Jane suggestion though. how many syllables is your surname?

boodleboot · 07/05/2009 11:16

Heidi Sian is nice

RachieB · 07/05/2009 12:55

Do you have any family names that you would like to use ?

If not then Heidi Sophia is nice

mickeylou · 07/05/2009 13:39

surname is a long one - 3 syllables. i was thinking Heidi Elizabeth today but she would have a hard job learning to write her name!

boodleboot · 07/05/2009 14:05

Heidi Michaela?

chandellina · 07/05/2009 19:23

Heidi Ho? just kidding - Louise comes into my head too for some reason.

Plonker · 07/05/2009 21:56

My very first though was 'Marie' - interesting to see that others thought the same

I do love Heidi Elizabeth too (but then Elizabeth is my most favourite name in the world ...and my dd2's middle name )

How about:

Heidi Jane
Heidi Marianne
Heidi Beth
Heidi Faith

iwanttolearn · 21/05/2009 15:54

Heidi Nicole
Heidi Anne
Heidi Maria
Heidi Amelia

sockmonster · 21/05/2009 16:44

before I clicked on this thread I instantly thought Marie- it just goes... weird

I think therefore maybe a 2 syllable name best, with the emphasis more on the 2nd syllable- as in Marie, Nicole, etc. Can't think of any today!

Er, with Elizabeth I think the name will be fine if that's the name you like. Heidi's not a long name, and your dd won't have to write her middle name out all that often

MrsMattie · 22/05/2009 18:44

I had a friend at school called Heidi Beth.

ohdearwhatamess · 22/05/2009 18:54

Louise

JBS75 · 22/05/2009 22:11

If you have a 3-syllable surname I think a 1-syllable middle name would go best with Heidi.

I like Heidi Anne and Heidi Jane

bumptwitkknocker · 03/06/2009 12:04

Go with the book theme. Peter (I once knew a lady called Peter), Clara, or Goat.

pranma · 03/06/2009 15:25

Maria?
Rose?
Sarah?

HeidiT · 14/10/2009 08:48
