What do you think of Cecile as a girls name (obviously!)
Sibling is Alyssa

Wanted something girly and a little different but not weirdly so...

I like it. Quite classy.

Variations might be Cecily or Cecilia, I think I prefer Cecile to those but I might assume some French blood somewhere.

For girly, different, not too weird, I might turn to "nana-names", like:

Dorothy (Dotty)
Valerie
June
Katherine (Kitty) - don't see many little girls but it's classic
Elsa
Alice
Harriet

I prefer cecelia.
