I've told her! Honest I have! And she's read some of the replies here too!
She is still saying she no longer cares on others opinions and that will be her dd will be called that

I am kinda hoping its a boy as she has a more 'sensible' name picked if so!

Poor kid will be laughed at for the rest of her life - the first thing she is doing as a mother is saddling her with a name that will mean she is a target forvever - she should be ashamed of herself and will have no one to look to but herself when her kid comes home being bullied because she has a fucking stupid name!

DD has an angel at her school she has highlights and wide hips and acts like a 14 year old when she is infact 8 - that says it all!

I took it that she wanted to call her Scarlett-Angel, using the 2 names together? If not, Scarlett is OK on it's own, and the poor thing can keep the Angel a secret.

I don't see what the problem is really.

I think they are both nice names and have Angel as one of my top 5 girls names.

When you tell people your name or write it down you very very very rarely ever say your middle name as well, so unless you want someone to know nobody will.

But IMO I think it's nice. It really annoys me when people come on here syaing that they have def chosen and EVERYONE shoots them down for it!
