Just wondered if I could have some opinions on this name please. What sort of image does it conjure up for you? Isit popular?

The only Jasmine I have met was a rather classy looking (and very bright) accountant at work. Usually known as Jazz. She was Asian and one of those ladies who always looks impeccable, so that's what I associate with the name.

I think it's rice, I mean nice.

Jasmine was dp's favourite until I struck it from the list. Way too girly.

Reminds me of a flower.
I always imagined people would get mixed up with Jasmine and Yasmin, well I do anyway!!! and that's why I would avoid it (probably only me who gets the 2 confused though.)

DS1 would have been Jasmine if he's been a girl. Then I met 1 dreadful Jasmine, and it really put me off, os I didn't consider it for DS2 or DD.

There are a couple in DS1's school(both blond; I think of it as a dark hair name), but it's not too popular.

It's a lovely name. I associate it with a lovely, bright, charming little girl I used to babysit. I love the flower, too.
