Tess Alexandria
Tess Sophia
Tess Jemima
Tess Olivia

as you can see, I think longish and ending in "a"...

Jeepers · 14/04/2009 19:58

Love Tess - and agree that the middle name should be longish to balance things up.

hazeyjane · 14/04/2009 20:02

Ooh I was just going to say Olivia, sounds perfect to me.

brimfull · 14/04/2009 20:04

love the name tess-good choice!

tess diana
tess fiona
tess matilda
tess rosa
tess marina

pointydog · 14/04/2009 20:04

I like it.

People will come on here and say it is a dog's name. It's not. It's a human name.

brimfull · 14/04/2009 20:05

tess elizabeth
tess margaret

Jeepers · 14/04/2009 20:15

i can categorically state i have never met a pet called tess. Not even a hamster. Which is reassuring.

Am a bit wary of long middle names as the surname is sizeable. But i am quite drawn to alexandra. It's somehow stately. Olivia is nice too.

I love Tess and would have been possible for this lo but - by coincidence - my MIL (Theresa) uses Tess as a nn and my goddaughter has it as a middle name.
My goddaughter is Imogen Tess, so you could always reverse that to Tess Imogen!!?

Otherwise I like Tess Elizabeth and Tess Rosa

Jeepers · 14/04/2009 20:21

tess teeckle.... has a lovely ring to it. Unusual too. Will add it to my list

Prefer Tessa

muminmuddle · 15/04/2009 14:52

Tess is beautiful, I would have had it on my list if it hadn't clashed with our surname... goodness, it's so much easier to be decisive about other's children's names than one's own.

Don't be put off by Tess-teekle jokes, can be safely ignored I think....

the only thing that pops into my head with Tess is the Hardy, 'of the d'urbivilles' connection.. but that's no problem. doesn't seem to matter for another popular name, Jude.

Go for it - I think there should be more Tesses in the world!

Leannabanana · 15/04/2009 20:03

I like Tess Marianne...or Tessa Grace

my friend has a tessa- unfortunately she's 'on the large side' and is referred to (really unkindly) as ten tonne tessa...i do like it, her middle name is Florence
