/help me decide on girls name!!!

4 weeks to go - so not completely desperate, however, my DD was nameless for 4 days, and certain 'out-laws' made a 'witty' comment on 'me sat doing nothing in the evenings, so I could perhaps have names sorted for the birth this time!!!!'
DD1 is called Marcia. If it is a boy, we are thinking Ernest, after DP grandad.
Having massive problems with girlie names though!!!
Matilda or Evalyn are on my shortlist, but DP looks at me like I have told him a very unfunny joke when i say these out loud!!!
Do I stick to my guns (after all, what do men actually do in the baby making process) or can you lovely ladies please provide some inspiration!!
Like older names (not too keen on Champagne and fifi-trixiebelle!!) but I also like them to be uncommon (perhaps I have severe dillusions of grandeur!!)

tiy, the reason I thought Evalyn, is it could be shortened to Eva, which i love!!! I think you might be right about Matilda becoming popular!!!! DP suggested Victoria yesterday, but went to school with evil one (mind block!!!)

Suwoo - we pronounce it Mar-cee-a, loved the name as soon as I saw it, and still do now, although all my family and I have started calling her Marth!!!!!

DD is Emmeline which obviously we love. However if you chose that one be prepared for everyone to think that she is named Emily. Have told one of the Mums at school 4 times that its Emmeline and she still tells everyone its Emily
