Quote "I am not xxx, I am Tigger'

Oh why did I bother. So if anyone hears someone calling Tigger while out, please don't start a thread on here laughing at my terrible name choice, she does have a beautiful name really.

I quite like Tigger

IwishIwereonthebeach · 02/04/2009 11:01

whats her beautiful name?

PinkTulips · 02/04/2009 11:03

ds1 is frequently 'cat' or 'baby'

we're not allowed to use his name when he's in certain moods

Lancelottie · 02/04/2009 12:54

My dd went through a phase of wanting to be called Dandelion.
Her brother wanted to be called Zoe.

Why do we bother??

MuffinToptheMule · 02/04/2009 15:46

I know a child whose actual name is Tigger

MuppetsMuggle · 02/04/2009 15:48

My DD name is lovely. I think as I've always called her bean, she never answers to her actual name, she says my name is Bean LOL.

alarkaspree · 02/04/2009 15:52

Ds this morning said 'I am not [ds name], I am the new boy. My name is hopscotch.'

I quite like hopscotch too.

TrillianEAstraEgg · 02/04/2009 15:59

I expect your 'beautiful name' will stay with her longer than Tigger

sleepsforwimps · 02/04/2009 23:18

There's a real Tigger out there? She will be so jealous.

Hopscotch has a nice ring to it.

Hopscotch! fab name!

savoycabbage · 03/04/2009 07:15

My dd is Satsuma or Dolly. I have no idea where she got them from.

thell · 03/04/2009 11:37

My DD has stuck to her name - and names all her toys the same name too! God knows what happens if we have another girl.

suwoo · 03/04/2009 11:45

My DS has chosen the name Giten from the binman in his favoutite book. If anyone asks him his name, he always replies 'Giten'. He is 2.

Xavielli · 03/04/2009 12:29

hehe! This reminds me that when I was at playgroup, so about 3, I insisted that everyone call me Christopher Robin, it had to be written on all my paintings etc etc.... Can see my DD going the same way tbh.

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 03/04/2009 12:40

DD2 insists on being called 'Moonbear' or 'Butterfly Princess'.

How fecking nauseating is that?
