We'd like to call our daughter Riley Grace but after mentioning it to friends & family, I'm now worried it sounds chavvy.

I know - we shouldn't be swayed by anyone else's opinion, but I don't want to saddle the poor mite with something she'll be teased for.

Help please? Is this so awful?

Boys name IMO

not Riley for a girl, not under any spelling, imo.

Grace is lovely but increasingly popular.

I would assume that a child called Riley was a boy, and yes I don't think it is particularly high class. But I don't think it would necessarily cause teasing. As always it is up to the parents - general advice is not to tell anyone in advance.
