Neither me nor DH nor our 2 DSs have a middle name

Are we the only family on MN to have achieved this rather dull accolade?

My sisters and I dont have them (Mum has a terrible one and dad's initials are BJ- could that be why? LOL), but our children all do and we spent many hours choosing names we'd like as children.

My dad and nephews don't.

My Mum and Dad do,as do I (youngest child) but my 2 sisters dont ?! haha

me and my sister don't have middle names, nor does my OH. My mum has 3 names but had one taken out by deed poll. My brother has a middle name but that's only because my dad wanted to put a stop to the silly affectation his own father wanted him to continue (he had given my dad his middle name and expected my dad to do the same for my brother) and so named him something completely different to what was expected.

When me and my OH have kids we have talked about middle names and are not that fussed about giving our kids loads of names but we'll see.

Me and DP don't have middle names and neither do our three children. I don't feel like I've missed out and we found it hard enough to think of one each that we really loved let alone any more!

I have a middle name, as do my brothers and sister and mum and dad.

DH doesnt. DS has a middle name, named after my brother who died, aged 17 on the day i found out I was pregnant

DD doesn't have a middle name. It just felt wrong choosing one.
