have you plumped for anything yet?

nappyaddict · 19/03/2009 14:19

I prefer Nate to Nathan as it's a bit more unusual.

Peachy · 19/03/2009 14:23

We have a Sam. Other names (first and middle) in his 3 brothers are:

Stirling (that would go well with Ianin but nt if you live too close to the city), Godfrey, Max, Sebastian, George, Harold, Jarvis and Griffith (in no particular order).

Peachy · 19/03/2009 14:24

NA pmsl, where did you copy that list from?Surely its not stream of consciousness posting?

shoobidoo · 19/03/2009 14:27

Ben would be too common/popular/boring for me too....

Nathan is nice and a little more unique.

Thanks everyone - funnily enough peachy - grandparents live in Stirling!
Still haven't persuaded hubby to choose (agreement was after 2nd that since I chose both DS1 and DS2 it was entirely his choice!) He's such a procrastinator!

I thought you might be Scottish from the choice of Iain, haven't seen that (actually nice) name used anywhere else in years.

lljkk · 19/03/2009 20:00

Mark.
Goes well with OP's other choices.

My Ben is one of 5 in his class! And he goes to a really small school....

I don't think it bothers him THAT much, but he has taken to writing Ben M on everything instead of just Ben. I keep telling myself it won't really matter once he leaves school.

He wants us to change his name to Charlie, he goes on about it constantly, but I think thats because I went on so much about ds2's name

Concordia · 27/03/2009 22:03

My DS has a fairly common name and at least it means that on starting pre-school at 2 1/2 he learnt his surname fairly quickly. I wasn't pleased to see the others but it was an unexpected benefit.
I think Adam is a good choice for you. Like the name Ben too. Agree you should take your time in choosing.
