Haribosmummy · 10/03/2009 11:22

Am expecting baby no. 2 in August... DS is Harrison and would like a name that 'goes' with that, IYSWIM...

I quite like 'surnamey' type names...

For boys:
Eddison
Flynn
Tom (OK, I just like this one)

Girls:
Mackenzie

That's as far as I've got!!!

Please set me straight let me know what you think or add your own suggestions...

THANKYOU!

HM

Ford

ScorpiowithabigS · 10/03/2009 11:25

I also like Ainsley for a girl

iwontbite · 10/03/2009 11:25

for a girl I quite like Taylor actually.

I know a Cooper (boy) and a Tanner (girl).
a friend called her baby girl Eliot (after TS Eliot) which is very cool

ScorpiowithabigS · 10/03/2009 11:26

I like Taylor Grace for a girl, its lovely, though DH said he preferred a different first name.

Haribosmummy · 10/03/2009 11:34

Oh, I like Madison.... Also i like Taylor, but not sure it goes with our surname?

Cooper - very cool, but def. doesn't go with our surname!!!

Anymore?

Owen

missblythe · 10/03/2009 11:43

Marshall

I think maybe this just works better for boys names, you know!

missblythe · 10/03/2009 11:44

DH's nephew is Morgan, but have heard that used for girls too

Haribosmummy · 10/03/2009 11:46

I love Owen (and Liam) but DH isn't a fan...

trouble is, I have a real feeling this baby is a girl. No clue why given how terrible I am at even NOTICING I'm pregnant, but (once I found out) I was sure DS was a boy and I have a strong feeling this one is a girl... (though as DH points out, I have a 50:50 chance of being right!!)

Other girls names I like;

Martha
Grace
Imogen

I like Martha & Grace, i also Like Esme & Lydia lately.

missblythe · 10/03/2009 11:48

Martha is lovely. If this one was not already confirmed as a boy, that would be top of my list.

Rindercella · 10/03/2009 11:49

Jensen for a boy.

Haribosmummy · 10/03/2009 11:52

Jensen Lovely!!! Never thought of that one!!

Esme is nice, but Dh already has an Issy which is a bit close!!

Haribosmummy - (waves from Aug 09 thread) I started an almost identical thread about 2 weeks ago but for my DC3. When I saw your nickname I did wonder if "harribo" was Harrison as that's what my mum calls my Harrison!! Very funny! My Ds2 is Austen by the way if you wanted another boys suggestion. Also on my mind were names like Emerson, Ellis, Lawrence. We think DC3 is a girl (hooray!) and my top names for her will be Darcy/Darcey or Lauren.

my thread here might give you some more suggestions.
