all lovely except lexie and lola (charlie and lola has ruined that one)

Tidey · 06/03/2009 19:56

There's not a single name there that I dislike, they're all really lovely. My favourites from your list are probably Alyssa, Lexie and Scarlett, but it's very hard to choose just one!

Congratulations in advance

hazeyjane · 06/03/2009 19:56

Ellie and Lauren would be my favourites on that list, they are classic and very pretty without being too flowery.

nowwearefour · 06/03/2009 19:56

caitlin
scarlett
lauren

in that order are my favourites!!

MrsMattie · 06/03/2009 19:58

Lola is a favourite of mine. It is very popular, but I just love it and always have.I like all of them except for Caitlin, to be honest. Caitlin is one of my worst names ever - I just hate it. It sounds made up (Caitlin is actually the Gaelic spelling of Kathleen. The Yanks bastardized it and gave it back to us as 'Kate-Lynn'. Yuck. Sorry.)

dizzydixies · 06/03/2009 21:04

Alyssa - ok
Caitlin - ok but very popular now if you're bothered by that
Ellie - prefer Ella
Lauren - bit boring imo
Lexie - I have one, be careful, they're fiesty!
Lola - like
Scarlett - can't make up my mind, something bothers me about Scarlett, I think its because it has the word scar in it

moondog · 06/03/2009 21:06

All dreadful.

CatchaStar · 06/03/2009 21:07

Only like Lauren, Scarlett at a push.

Chatkins · 06/03/2009 21:07

Like Alyssa best, but prefer Alicia if I am honest !

ohdearwhatamess · 06/03/2009 21:25

Like Caitlin, don't like the others (although would like Alyssa if it was Alicia)

MoshiMoshi · 06/03/2009 22:07

Lola or Scarlett.

jkklpu · 06/03/2009 22:11

mostly very trendy at the moment so there would be lots of others with the same name
apart from Lexie, perhaps, which just reminds me of sexy Lexy - Miss Lexington in early Grange Hill

RachieB · 06/03/2009 22:28

Alyssa - nice but prefer Alyssia / Alicia
Caitlin - love it ,can be shorted to Cait ,Caitie when little
Ellie - prefer Ella ( DS2 girl choice!)
Lauren - love it ( DS1 girl choice !)
Lexie - don't like
Lola - don't like
Scarlett - ok

lunamoon2 · 08/03/2009 00:03

Caitlin and Scarlett are my faves.

cece · 08/03/2009 00:12

How about Alexia?

Leannabanana · 08/03/2009 08:52

I have an Ellie....Ellie Mae so i would say that. We call her Ells. I like Lexie but as a NN for Alexandra or Alexis....incase she needs serious name to be a DI or judge or something....

Hassled · 08/03/2009 09:12

Caitlin is my favourite, followed by Ellie. Don't like Lexie or Lola - others are all nice.

Alyssa - I prefer Alice or Alicia
Caitlin - yes, ok. I also like Katrina/Katriona
Ellie - seems like a nickname to me. I love Eleanor though
Lauren - don't really like it
Lexie - like it as a nickname for Alexandra
Lola - no
Scarlett - not sure.

ten10 · 08/03/2009 11:12

Alyssa - don't like
Caitlin - Like
Ellie - not a proper name, is a shortening for Eleanor
Lauren - is ok
Lexie - not a proper name, is a shortening for Alexandra
Lola - don't really like
Scarlett - very popular, but not my taste

Nancy66 · 08/03/2009 11:33

Ellie as an abbreviation for Eleanor is ok.
Have never felt Lexie was a proper name, Scarlett is becoming way too popular. Caitlin is a bit harsh sounding and Alyssa and Lauren are too chav.

Lola is my favourite from your list

LynetteScavo · 08/03/2009 11:36

I love Lola, and don't know any in RL.

There are loads of Laurens and Ellies around here.

Lexie is nice, but I always think it's short for Alexia.

feedthegoat · 08/03/2009 11:37

I think they're all nice except Alyssa.

TsarChasm · 08/03/2009 11:37

We have a gazillion Elly/Ellie's here. V popular it seems.

dinkymum · 08/03/2009 15:42

I really like Caitlin very opretty name
