What image does the name Annabel have nowadays? Are there lots of little Annabels running around?

My step dd is 15 and called Annabel, absolutley love the name!

She is a beauty, very well behaved and level headed, quite indivisual and has always been full of character and spirit.

Do not know of ANY others and she's NEVER met another either.

Love the spelling dipicted here to the others aswell!

I wanted Isobel when pg with dd - but Annabel and Isobel

I love it. Also it can be shortened to Belle/Bella and also Annie. I only know 1 little Annabel - she is an Annie

It's quite popular here. How about Arabel or Claribel?

There was one in my local Sainsbo's yesterday. She was very cute, maybe about 20 months- 2ish and had just emptied an entire bottle of washing up liquid or something similar over the contents of the shopping trolley in which she was being transported, so was being told off by her parents. She didn't look at all sorry, just interested in the effect of her action. I thought she was rather fab in that way you do when it's not your child creating havoc. My son (a lot older than 2) then accidentally knocked our bottle of hot sauce off the conveyor belt and it shattered to smithereens, casting red chilli sauce far and wide. Karma, eh?

Anyway, I don't know any Annabels personally.
