What do you think of Connor?

I think it's a nice sounding name that has become too common and like others on here, I have never met a nice one- always very naughty boys .

I like Connor but there are so many of them it doesn't really register with me any more

Do teachers seriously stereotype children by name? What sort of dimwits are running our education system? The mind boggles!

You ladies won't believe me when I say this, but I don't know a single COnnor! Neither does anyone in my circle of friends or family. Definitely none where I live, so had no idea it'd become so common!

Oh well. SO long as we don't move, we'll be fine ;)

No I don't think teachers really stereotype children by name (I am one) buuuuuuuuuuut occasionally one wonders what the child called Junior or Cain (often as Kane) whose name appears on your register is likely to be like (answer: often lovely, sometimes naughty, like any other child).

I thought some teachers did?

It isn't on my list but it's fine, doesn't offend my sensibilities in any way!

I have a Connor (nearly 13 now)
there are no others with same name in his year, or nearby that i know of

i wasnt too keen at first ,when his dad mentioned it when discussing names

but it grew on me and was one of few we agreed on in the end!

oh and sorry to bust the theory lol
but he is far from "naughty" etc

he is quite the opposite
shy and quiet in school

I don't mind it, nothing wrong with it, it's ok...but thats about it really.....it's ok

boring, sorry, I know about 4 among my own friends' children.
nice enough name in itself but very popular at the mo.
