Middle names to go with Noah?

We had a girl, but our top boy name was Noah. We absolutely could NOT think of a middle name though.

I liked Noah Sebastian, but DH hates Sebastian. We thought of Charlie, but it doesn't particularly mesh well.

Any other ideas? Last name begins with H so nothing starting with A ...

I'd maybe go with another "old" or Biblical name:

Noah Paul
Noah Peter
Noah Luke
Noah Simon
Noah Matthew

My fave is Noah Matthew I think.

i started doing biblical names as well, but ended up sounding like an octuplet name. (...)

charles? (then you can shorten to Charlie as a pet name if you so wish)

victor or ernest for a little more old fashionnedness.

We liked Noah Henry or Noah Peter for our LO but she was a DD and neither of those names suited her!

kerryk · 18/02/2009 20:54

if i had a ds it would have been Noah John.

That would be my choice, in order to streamline things

myredcardigan · 18/02/2009 21:09

Noah James sounds good. Stick to one syllable

Tinker · 18/02/2009 23:23

Surely not Zac?

thumbwitch · 18/02/2009 23:31

My first thought was Noah James
Noah Stanley
Noah Peter

Weegiemum · 19/02/2009 08:33

A friend just named her son Noah Malachy.

Personally don't like Noah, but as my children know their bibles, when we heard a (very posh) mother shouting 'Noooooo-aaaaaah' in a soft play area, dd2 (then 3) said 'has thata-boy gotta big boat?'

fizzpops · 19/02/2009 08:39

I REALLY love the name Noah - what might put me off the name myself if the, 'No, Noah! No!' which would inevitably occur at some point.

Think a one syllable name like James goes best though.
