Alex James from Blur has a son called Geronimo.

poshwellies · 10/02/2009 22:54

She has a harsh time too, wish her well and her premature ds.

Yes,lovely name.

IroningBored · 10/02/2009 22:56

Geronimo - there are a couple of threads dedicated entirely to a boy called Geronimo

jasper · 10/02/2009 23:09

I had missed that. i think it is a cracking name but not one I would use myself!

Life is slightly different for Geronimos whose dads are millionaire pop stars

LauriefairycakeeatsCupid · 10/02/2009 23:11

utterly ridiculous name and Geronimo is beyond stupid

bit funny if he grows up to be a big burly bloke

GooseyLoosey · 11/02/2009 08:32

I think its only a middle name - in the paper it said that his first name was Kit (which I really like as old family name).

PottyCock · 11/02/2009 08:34

yes, it's kit valentine. I like it actually!

PottyCock · 11/02/2009 08:34

who has called their baby geronimo?

BonsoirAnna · 11/02/2009 08:35

Valentin is quite a popular name for boys in France.

Ceebee74 · 11/02/2009 08:37

What a lovely name - Kit Valentine I didn't even know she had had the baby - I thought it wasn't due until April (I know far too much

lottiejenkins · 11/02/2009 08:44

Her son was delivered nine weks early because she had pre eclampsia... I love the name Kit....its my nephews name!!

SalmonintheLiffey · 11/02/2009 10:18

Kit Valentine. I really like it. Prefer it to Sonny, although it goes very well together.

SOnny and Kit.

Can't have been an easy pregnancy knowing that she had pre-E the first time 'round.

lastboxoftampons · 11/02/2009 11:13

I like Valentine - but do fear it's slightly cheesy to give any child born in February that name!

SalmonintheLiffey · 11/02/2009 11:22

Yes, like getting married or engaged on 14/2

that has always made me wince for some reason!

kitsmummy · 11/02/2009 20:15

Wow, I'm so excited, a celeb baby with the same name as my son, cool!!!

LaDiDaDi · 11/02/2009 21:06

Oh I think it's lovely.
Sonny and Kit go really well together imo.

Was Kit prem too, I know that Sonny was?

KittyBigglesworth · 12/02/2009 00:41

I like it, Valentine was on my list as a middle name and has been used in my family many years ago. Of course I can't use it now. Huff. Oh well, there are plenty of other names. Yes, I think it is more popular in France.

Not sure about Geronimo but I do like Galileo and Artemis, the names of his twins. Would never dream of copying them though and I would, in reality, reserve them for use as middle ones.

SobranieCocktail · 12/02/2009 11:45

I love the name Valentine.

I also love the name Geronimo [biased]

Like the name Valentine, but I'm a bit with Geronimo.

It's what I would shout if I were about to do a parachute jump!

Tatties · 12/02/2009 11:57

Oh Valentine is a beautiful name

shootfromthehip · 12/02/2009 12:02

Valentine is gorgeous if a little naff because of the timing. I prefer Kit to Sonny (which I am NOT keen on).

Oh- my brother has just flown to NYC to propose to his beloved on Valentine's...that's naff too IMO. Top of the Empire State Building too

Tortington · 12/02/2009 12:03

she's a plank
