We already have a Lucas and thinking of George - will everyone make the same tedious comment or laugh, or will it not cross their minds? Honesty please...

LOL PadDad.......am not a SW fan so have no idea what you are talking about but I get the gist!!

Noooo, dont!
When my DH's great-granddad passed away, the vicar at the funeral service had to be really careful with great-great grandchildren names, ensuring he said Elliot and then Billy.

Both names are lovely and I can't see it being a problem.

Incidentally, I have a Cameron and if I have another DS, James is in the running so we will have a James and Cameron. Just occurred to me actually.

Would not make the link. In fact I have a relative who has 2 sons called George and Lucas. The youngest is coming up for 7 and until now I had never thought of the connotations

If I have another boy, I was thinking of naming him George with Lucas as his middle name. Then thought maybe not. It's a toughie.

I just realised that we have a Billy and an Eliot in our family (they aren't siblings though).
