I struggled naming first DS and have used up the only boys name I like.

I don't actually know what the sex of this baby is but have loads of girls names but can't think of one single boys name

Please help me so that my baby doesn't grow up without a name!!!

Are you able to say what your ds is called? And what sort of names do you like, e.g. biblical, popular, unusual, have to have a certain sort of meaning etc? Are there any initial letters you would rule out?

Sexonlegs · 23/01/2009 18:24

Matthew
James
Sam
Daniel
Archie
Alfie
Thomas
Luke

What does yur last name start with?

LynetteScavo · 23/01/2009 18:28

plonker · 23/01/2009 19:11

Oh I'm so pleased for you ...you know you're going to have to share baby with me don't you?

How far gone are you? Do Hannah and Oliver know? What do they think? What are your step-daughters called?

Aww Eve is lovely

Have you got a long short list for boys?

GossipMonger · 23/01/2009 19:16

Hannah, Oliver and Sam

Hannah, Oliver and Thomas

Hannah, Oliver and Max

Hannah, Oliver and Joshua

Hannah, Oliver and Zac

Lots of names go with Hannah and Oliver

littlelamb · 23/01/2009 19:19

I settled on Matthew for ds, and had a real struggle deciding as we have a dreadful surname too. Other possibilities were
Oliver
Charlie
Samuel
Ben
Thomas
Joshua
I love ds' name, but it isn't exactly uncommon, and dd does pronounce it Maff Yew

memoo · 23/01/2009 19:39

I think all the names suggested are lovely but not quite right for me. I do like Max, but wasn't sure if it sounded a bit old man ish.

Plonker, I only just got BFP the other week, not sure exactly how many weeks. I'm having a scan in a couple of weeks. Have to have an early one because last pregnancy was ectopic.

I haven't told the DC yet as want to wait until I definately know that everything is OK.

DSD's are called Millie and Poppy

memoo · 23/01/2009 19:39

ooh kerry, I like Noah!

plonker · 23/01/2009 19:45

Ah lots of time to find the 'right' name then, if memory serves correct, you like to leave it till the last minute to decide

Good luck with your scan - let me know how you get on.

All your dcs and dsd's have beautiful names (Millie is especially gorgeous of course )

Oh, and Max is one of the names we had for dd3 if she had have been a boy - I don't think its old mannish at all

kerryk · 23/01/2009 19:50

you have to call him noah then

i would love 2 boys called oliver and noah but i cant cope with the 2 girls i already have

jeanjeannie · 23/01/2009 19:52

TheCrackFox · 23/01/2009 19:53
