We have a DS already, Samuel.

I think we've narrowed down his baby brother to Oscar or Finley - which do you prefer and please don't say neither!

Oscar - mind you thye only one I know is well suited to it - he is a grouch!

Thanks for all your replies - I had no idea Finley/Finlay/Finn were so popular. I love Fynn though and DH is Irish so it would work but I guess we'd have to wait and see if DS2 is going to fair or dark.

Both myself and DH are dark and yet Samuel is fair so who knows this time!

Still loving Oscar though - I've a feeling this might go to the wire and end up being decided on the day depending on which name he suits better.

DS3 is Oscar and his best buddy is Finley!

(I prefer if spelt Finlay though as well)

nkf · 19/01/2009 22:03

Why can't I say neither.

countrylover · 20/01/2009 12:51

Ok, you can but only if you can come up with something better!

I wish I could. Boys' names are very difficult.

KTNoo · 20/01/2009 20:19

I have Finlay and didn't realise it was getting so popular which is annoying as I prefer to choose less popular names.

All 3 of mine have scottish names, so it depends if you want the names to go together well or you don't care.

We live abroad and my Finlay was indignant about Finley the fire engine when we were home on holiday! He doesn;t want there to be another one!

Finley - keep the "e"
