nappyaddict You have quite a few of my faves in there, but I don't think dh is too sure on them hence I've given up for now.. I don't want to keep mentioning them, as he'll 'give in/come round' to them to make me happy.. Hoping he finds something he really loves, but so far, nothing! Oh, apart from Max, but I think he may have gone off that now
How much say does ds get - anything he hears us say he relates to a book or a programme / nasty boy or friend at playschool etc..
But hey he is 4.. he will just have to accept our name choice I say, but my friend didn't call her ds what she really wanted to because her 4 yo DD said no

I might take suggestions from a 4 year old but I definitely wouldn't not have a name my 4 year old didn't like.

Got a few more for you:

Walter
Albert
Clarence
Hugh
Ernest
Tobin

MissyK · 17/01/2009 11:30

Oohh @ Tobin.. will scribble that down & see what dh says after work, maybe when he has a glass of wine in his hand

wanders off to continue making her fleece liners...

I only discovered it yesterday and love it. Wish I'd known about it before DS was born. I wanted him to be named after his uncle who died (Toby) but a lot of people felt he should have his own name. Tobin would have been a nice compromise. Shame I won't be able to use it for future children as it is too similar to DS' name.

blue - that's my favourite name. DS (2.7) is called Toby-Jack and I wish I'd seen the name Tobin before this year!
