Seraphina Rose Elizabeth

I think it's a lovely name, very feminine. What does everyone else think?

Ooh now that is different, very pretty!!

McDreamy · 13/01/2009 20:52

What did they call their DD1?

differentID · 13/01/2009 20:53

I was expecting something horrendous, that's a passable first name and yes to middle names!

bluebump · 13/01/2009 20:53

Their DD1 was Violet Anne I think.

Jodyray · 13/01/2009 20:54

Yes it was Violet.

McDreamy · 13/01/2009 20:54

Oh yes that's right. Thanks

cheesesarnie · 13/01/2009 20:55

i love it.

IwishIwasamermaid · 13/01/2009 20:56

I think its lovely,

noonki · 13/01/2009 21:05

I thought it was awful til I said it out loud. It is very pretty

Tillyscoutsmum · 13/01/2009 21:09

I think its lovely - different enough without being massively wacky. I like Seraphine as well

Sesi · 13/01/2009 23:08

Very nice, but I did expect something good as Violet is a lovely name.

No marks for Rose as a middle name, this generation's Jane - so predictable. But Seraphina more than makes up for it.

We were going to call our DD Seraphina! But we didn't in the end - our DD's second name is Rose though... After Dh's gran BTW, not just to be common as muck!

I like the name Violet. From my assiduous scouring of sleb twaddle, they seem like a very clued in pair.

Tortington · 14/01/2009 02:30

seraphina is a shit name

i love violet

seraphina indeed.

squatchette · 14/01/2009 02:51

lol Custy you always make me laugh with your directness.

squatchette · 14/01/2009 02:56

My dd3 has the middle name Rose and I honestly didn't know it was that popular until reading a names thread on here.I like to think it is off set by her more unusual Christian name.
As for Seraphina tis o.k each to their own and all that.

Buda · 14/01/2009 06:29

Not keen I'm afraid. Mind you i don't like Violet either. (Not, I am sure, that Ben and Jennifer will give a monkeys what I think!)

angel1976 · 14/01/2009 08:54

Seraphina I think is very pretty. Not a name I would have considered but now they have used it, I can see what a pretty and feminine name it is. I expect it will be popular now!

MrsMattie · 14/01/2009 10:45

I love Seraphina. Prefer it to Violet.

Aurora911 · 14/01/2009 15:24

Seraphina is a beautiful, feminine name. I like it spelled Serafina too.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 14/01/2009 15:26

what did charlotte church call her baby boy?

yellowflowers · 14/01/2009 15:26

did they take the name from His Dark Materials trilogy - the good witch is called Serafina Pekkala (don;t like the name personally)

ilovelovemydog · 14/01/2009 15:27

Dreadful.

Umlellala · 14/01/2009 15:29

Dexter. (was one of our choices for ds )

angel1976 · 14/01/2009 15:29

Charlotte Church named her son Dexter.
