hmm, not my choice of name - but at her successful home birth

whitenoise · 12/01/2009 20:21

we had Dexter on our (enormously long list) for DS3. We didn't know he was a serial killer (a real one or on tv?)

scorpio1 · 12/01/2009 20:22

I am actually unreasonably cross at this! lol

Dexter was my name for dc3 - who turned out to be a dd. Now i want another boy, and there will be hundreds of dexter's!!

JustKeepSwimming · 12/01/2009 20:23

Makes me think of an American Country singer - have no idea if there is/was one called Dexter but that image springs to mind.

kickassangel · 12/01/2009 20:24

i live in a town called dexter, and I LOVE the series. We watch it all the time!

lottiejenkins · 12/01/2009 20:24

'Charlotte opted to deliver both of them in a purpose-built birthing pool at the home she shares with 26-year-old rugby star Gavin.'

Blimey - what on earth is she going to do with the birthing pool when she's had her 6 babies?

dizzydixies · 12/01/2009 20:59

good for her, I'd love to if I had the money

lets hope she gives it a good scrub down and donates it to the local midwife led unit or something

loler · 12/01/2009 21:12

Would make a nice paddling pool?

Dexter reminds me of the breed of cow - but then I spend too much time on farms!

Quite like it but there is noway would ever have got dh to agree.

Ugh! Dex was that horrible lizard-like lover of Joan Collins on Dynasty.

lottiejenkins · 12/01/2009 21:22

wasn't he called Dex Dexter?[grin} I'm sure he was you know.

it's a daft name imo.

wheresthehamster · 12/01/2009 21:27

Ooh yes! Dex Dexter. What a tosser. And he had a terrible complexion, all lumpy.

JustKeepSwimming · 12/01/2009 21:48

Dexter's Midnight Runners

CandleQueen · 12/01/2009 21:50

The birthing pool could be cooled and used as a v large wine chiller?

Sesi · 12/01/2009 21:55

Yuk, really don't like it.

Associations for me are the tv serial killer, or a dog's name, or a chav's name - take your pick but all not good!

LynetteScavo · 12/01/2009 21:56

I like it.

Nice and Welsh.
