I like all your choices I have a baby Talia it really suits her .It also sounds like my 4 year olds name Saskia although not intentional dd1's name doesn't sound like either though. My friend has an Isaac lovely name imo.

I know a family in which all 7(!) of the girls have names beginning with L.

janeite · 04/01/2009 15:11

My favourite boys' name has five letters and an "A" in it!

Tis Rowan.

Of your girls' names, I like Darcy best but tbh I prefer it for a middle name. Of your boys I like James best, then Isaac. I don't like Shaun.

Our theme is Hebrew names, although dd2's is a derivative of, rather than an original, Hebrew name.

Duchesse - absolutely gorgeous names.

both dd asd ds are 5 letters first and 7 letters middle hebrew names, similar rythym, first names with A as second lettter and vowel second last letter, both second names end in L.

if this baby is a boy it will pribably be 5 & 7 again with A second letter and vowel second last again.

it's just a nice rythym... i don't really do it on purpse but i seem drawn to these names/combnations!

Duchesse, good names all of them!

lilolilmanchester · 04/01/2009 16:38

Not intentionally, but both names end with the same sound. Which coincidentally is the same sound as the end of my "long" name. Much to the amusement of our dentist, who calls us the "(sound)s"

TennisMummy · 04/01/2009 16:41

My children's names are all former English tennis players' names!

This wasn't deliberate although I was aware of it. Nobody has ever noticed it, so although it's a theme, it's not a cheesey one.
