I have friends with girls with these names and they are all gorgeous...so I like them all!

Can I add a word of caution.... they are all very popular just now...

hairycaterpillar · 27/12/2008 20:09

...but if I had to rank them, then it would be Rosie first, closely followed by Daisy then Matilda.

LOL @ loolaboys - you are even less tactful than me.

I don't know why but I just don't like Rosie. Rose, yes, but not Rosie. It's just too 'sweet'. Daisy I like but not sure how it will last into adulthood. I always group Nancy and Daisy together in my mind though and I love Nancy, so Daisy is probably my favorite out of the three.

doesn't Jamie Oliver have a Rosie and a Daisy? It is just too many flowers in one family

Matilda - then she can choose whether to shorten it. Daisy and Rosie sound like little girls' names IMO which she will be of course for the first few years but she'll be a grown woman for longer.

(although actually Rosie is my cat so it sounds like a cat's name to me )

ah no, it was daisy and Poppy, still too flowery
