Like Jessica and esther,

eve too popular round here now, naomi lovely but is little sisters name and ruth is my middle name (hence sister being called Naomi so they matched) and I have always hated it, sorry any Ruths out there!!!

Blandmum · 18/12/2008 20:28

Abishag

rubyslippersisappearinginpanto · 18/12/2008 20:28

am yearning for a yael myself

LynetteScavo · 18/12/2008 20:30

I thought Abishag was a boys name.

(DH only got that far in the baby name dictionary before he gave up!)

LynetteScavo · 18/12/2008 20:32

Jewish girls names

Blu · 18/12/2008 20:34

hepzibah

Blandmum · 18/12/2008 20:41

Abishag was the name of the girl who was sent to warm the bed of David when he was an dirty old man

tassisssss · 18/12/2008 20:42

Miriam

A new one was born today - congrats Twiga!!

hester · 18/12/2008 20:42

I had a good friend called Hephzibah, and I come from a family of Ruths, so I love those names. Hephzibah may not go down well in the playground, though

Ariel/Arielle is getting very popular with little Jewish girls.

I also like Soreh and Manya.

LynetteScavo · 18/12/2008 20:42

Ah....we are not well read. And that includes the baby name dictionary.

LynetteScavo · 18/12/2008 20:42

I love Alia.
