Nollaig? Noel is a boy#s name, Nollaig is a very unusual girls' name in gaelic

What do you all think? Teh thread about Wednesday made me think that Nollaig is quite a nice name for a christmas name. Stronger than 'Holly'.

Pronounced NULLug.

I like Noelle (no-elle)

but not so keen on Nollaig.

Admittedly maybe this one could only work in Scotland or Ireladn.

I think it looks prettier than it sounds.

I think its nice but only for a girl.

My dsis's MIL is Nollaig. I love it!
