Love Violet - but not Vi. Help me think of a nice shortening or nickname please

Currently pregnant with DC6. DH and I have very different taste and I was shocked when he suggested Violet as I love it but did not expect him to. So far its the only name we have agreed on ( lets hope the baby is a girl ) but we both dislike Vi and would like to insist on the full name or a nickname of our choosing. For example DD2 is Keziah , sometimes called Kizzy, but never Kez.

My mil is Violet and hates Vi but my sil insists on calling her it.

I'm only pg with DC2 and we're struggling to agree on names....

First thought was Lettie but I reckon you could also get away with Lola.

Vio, Vee or Lettie are all nice. Though Violet is not especially long, so quite easy to not have a nn at all.

My mum was Violet and, despite it not being her choice, gave in to Vi. We just called her Violent.

That's a joke. Wish we'd given it to my youngest now (as a middle name)
