beanieb · 18/11/2008 15:13

never heard of Elodie, where's it from?

MatBackFeck · 18/11/2008 15:14

no way!!! Elodie is my name for if I ever have a girl (got 2 boys)!! I have never heard it mentioned on here before, shhh

It is French

MatBackFeck · 18/11/2008 15:14

And Erin but Ellie is a bit girly for me

thisisyesterday · 18/11/2008 15:15

definitely Elodie. it's lovely

Beauregard · 18/11/2008 15:16

Elodie

solo · 18/11/2008 15:17

There's an Elodie at our school. It's unusual yes, but nice. I like Erin best though.

sweetkitty · 18/11/2008 15:23

I wanted Elodie for DD3 but DP wasn't keen

Erin is DD2's middle name

I vote for Elodie (can be shortened to Ellie later as well)

Greensleeves · 18/11/2008 15:24

Elodie. I love it, it's one of my girl names

mumof2andabit · 18/11/2008 16:12

Elodie definetly the other 2 and becomingly maddingly popular

wtfhashappened · 18/11/2008 16:13

LOVE Elodie - mainly becuase it was my friend's little sister's name and she was beautiful and lovely.

MrsBadger · 18/11/2008 16:14

Elodie is the best of the bunch - Ellies and Ellas are ten a penny and Erin can't be far behind

Eloise?

wessexgirl · 18/11/2008 16:15

Elodie is lovely. I like Eloise as well.

thumbwitch · 18/11/2008 22:57

I love Elodie, I know a very classy lady called that, pretty sure she is not French though.

Ellie - I loved that but made the mmistake of suggesting it to my sis for her youngest [grr] - except that I would have called mine Elena/Eleanor and shortened it.

Erin - ha, we have cross-gender issues with that in our family!

I have known a couple of horrible Elodies in my life which puts me off

BabyBaby123 · 19/11/2008 11:24

Elodie is the best of those I think - Ellie is far too over used imo

scorpio1 · 19/11/2008 11:24

Elodie

Kagey · 19/11/2008 11:25

My vote is for Erin as have a little 8-week old Erin .

Have fun choosing a name for your little one!

BlueChampagne · 19/11/2008 13:24

I love Elodie too and know 2, one adult one small. Can always shorten it to Ellie. Also like Erin.
