What does everyone think of... Jolene?

I think it's quite cool but DH is concerned that it sounds a bit 'white trash'!

it is very difficult to say it without saying 'Jolene, Joleeeeene.... etc)

but I still quite like it. Also know someone called Jolan (pronounced Yolan) - here are some similar names

I know a Jodene which really suits her.

i went to school with a Jolene and everyone would sing at her wherever she went! Annoyed me let alone her.

I once watched a programme about class with Lawrence llewellyn bowen on it, when he said that anything that sounds vaguely French is always common. That's the first thing that sprang to mind when I read your post! However, I love Dolly P, so I know what you mean about Jolene being quite cool. What I'm trying to say is that I'm not sure!
